I have been raised and lived in North Vancouver all my life, with a great appreciation for our very special community.
With 28 years in the field of Early Childhood Education, I’ve had the privilege of working in various childcare settings, including daycare centres, preschools, and other early learning environments. This extensive experience has provided me with a deep understanding of the diverse needs of young children and the approaches required to support their growth and development effectively.
I earned my ECE Diploma from Capilano University, which has been pivotal in shaping my perspective on Early Childhood Education. Over the past five years, I’ve worked as an ECE Instructor at a private college, where I’ve combined practical experience with academic knowledge and taken on a leadership role in mentoring future Early Childhood Educators.
As a leader, my deep passion for emergent curriculum drives me to collaborate with educators in designing and implementing programs that address children's interests and developmental needs. I am also committed to working closely with families and communities, recognizing that strong partnerships are crucial for advancing Early Childhood
